Hong Kong has several Lantern Exhibitions for every Mid-Autumn Festival. Let me show you two, one in Tsim Sha Tsui and another one in Victoria Park.
There are 38 photos in this article, all taken by me. Enjoy.
Place: Tsim Sha Tsui, outside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre
Theme: Terracotta Warriors of the Qin Dynasty
Exhibition Date: the 13th of September to the 21st of October, 2012.
Time: 6:30pm to 11:00pm
Place: Victoria Park
1st spot: Enjoy the three minutes performance of light and music in this durian-like construction.
2nd spot: Come to know the lovely Chinese characters, including the Moon Lady. This part is the most colorful one.
3rd spot: Visitors gathered at the front of the stage for the pamphlet show.
4th spot: Take photos and leave a few words here.
5th spot: Dragon lantern.
6th spot: There are booths selling things and some merchandise is culture-related.
This year the exhibition scale is smaller in many locations. Since the exhibitions are not too crowded, it is easier to take photos. If you visit the Victoria Park, don't miss two interesting places in Causeway Bay for the coming Halloween.
Windsor
Visitors will see four charming Disney characters: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Pluto in Halloween costume.
Times Square
Tim Burton's fan or not, come to Times Square and look at Frankenweenie. You may want to take photos with some of the residents in this graveyard. Enjoy the behind scene photos and the film clip as well.

I love the Chinese characters. Very colorful, indeed. And I thought I was seeing the characters from The Corpse Bride in the last set of photos. Interesting share.
